This script is awesome, but has a small bug. Once iTunes is launched, the media keys didn't work to control it (at least for me). I fixed this by changing the launch instruction from os.spawnvp to os.execvp.

Hi guys, came across this the usual way – just wanted to ask couple of questions:

Ecoute is my music machine – I've used the script and it seems to work fine, but even when Ecoute isn't running, i can't get iTunes to launch… Does Ecoute keep something like a helper running in the background? The console gives me the correct message, that the script has run… Confoosed. Can only launch iTunes by renaming iTunesX back to iTunes…
